A BRIEF HISTORY

The School is located at the southern part of the city of Klang in the state of Selangor along Persiaran Raja Muda Musa road. It is an institution founded in 1947 by the joint efforts of parents, teachers and fellow students.

In 1969, the school board conducted an extensive administration and program restructuring exercise in response to the new education act enacted by the government in order to provide undisrupted education for the Chinese in Malaysia using Chinese as the medium of teaching. This has brought forth a stable educational framework that lasts till the present day.

With a current student population of 3000, Hin Hua High School is a well-equipped Chinese Independent School with modern infrastructure such as a conducive nine-storey building launched in 2007 and state-of-the-art eClass Learning Platform installed in 2006. These are but part of the efforts the school has in realizing the motto of promoting “the symbiosis of humanities and technology” to offer a balanced education program with equal emphasis on humanities and knowledge in technology. The school has in recent years seen a steady stride towards a better height in our continual pursuit of excellence in education.

The 11-storey Science and Technology Tower completed in 2013 enables the delivery of the education embedded with humanities and technology. The spirits of “collaboration, acquisition, exploration, discovery and innovation” underpin our policy in providing education that raises students with essential skills.
